Can I use a UK translation company for documents in Ireland?

Dublin Translator is operated by London Translation Services Limited in the UK. Tell us which Irish authority will receive your document and share its instructions. Acceptance depends on that authority and the application type; ask it to confirm any location, qualification or certification requirements before ordering.

Do you translate both Irish and English?

Yes. We quote translations from Irish into English and from English into Irish, as well as other languages into or from English or Irish. Please tell us the source language, target language and intended use.

What does a certified translation include?

A complete translation accompanied by a signed and dated certification identifying the translator or company and giving contact details. The wording and any extra formalities must suit the receiving organisation. A certified translation is different from a certified copy of the original.

Is a translation the same as an apostille?

No. An apostille or legalisation authenticates the origin of a public document or signature; translation changes its language. Some applications require both. Share the authority’s instructions so LTS can confirm what it can provide and what must be arranged separately.

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

The price and turnaround depend on the languages, length, document quality, certification and delivery requirements. Send a readable scan or photograph and your deadline. LTS will confirm a quotation and schedule before you commit.

Do I need to visit an office or post my originals?

You can begin remotely from anywhere in Ireland. Email a clear scan for a quotation. Do not post originals unless this has been specifically agreed with LTS; the receiving authority may still require you to submit original documents separately.
